Knowing that it is possible…

…makes persisting much easier.

When I was a little boy, the garage gate at my grandparents’ house had a trick to open it. It was necessary to lift it a little to find the exact position where the lock could turn.

Since I knew the trick, and I knew it was possible to open it, even if I didn’t succeed on the first try, I just kept trying until I got to the right position.

But, if you had tried to open that same grille without knowing the trick, chances are you would have given up thinking that, perhaps, it was the wrong key or that the grille simply could not be opened.

👇 Tip of the Day 👇

When you know that something is possible, that it has been achieved before, persist. It will be easy to stay focused and keep trying because you know that each effort will bring you closer to your goal.

Now, if you are trying something new, something that has never been done before and you don’t yet know how to accomplish, I recommend that you be not only persistent but also tenacious. Tenacity is the key to overcome obstacles and achieve what seems impossible.

Don’t give up, make the necessary adjustments until you find that exact position that opens the door to your goal.
