Focus, true focus, at least for me, comes naturally as a consequence of enjoyment….
And enjoyment (again, for me) is a state of mind that we can experience in any task or activity we perform, it is not something inherent in what we do per se.
When we free ourselves from judgments, resistances and distractions, and immerse ourselves completely in what we are doing (and only in that), we discover that focus and enjoyment, in essence, are directly connected.
When you stop judging, when you stop comparing, when you stop resisting and when you stop being distracted by multitasking, that’s when you can really enjoy what you are doing.
