In one of the first blog posts I warned how dangerous it is to look for easy shortcuts or magic solutions to your problems.
When it comes to your growth and improvement, there are no magic shortcuts or quick fixes, if you want to get a good result, take the long way.
When you take the easy way out or look for shortcuts, you often get mediocre results or even find yourself having to start over from scratch. How many times have you tried to take a shortcut only to realize that it cost you more time and energy in the end?
On the other hand, when you give yourself with discipline and constancy to do whatever it takes, to travel and enjoy the long road, something magical happens?
Not only do you become stronger and more resilient, each step you take, no matter how small, brings you closer to your goals and fills you with a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction.
👇 Tip of the Day 👇
- Take the long way...
That is the best shortcut.
The most important goals are not achieved overnight, but through dedication, perseverance and a willingness to grow and learn every step of the way.
Next time you’re looking for a shortcut, remember: the long way is the safest shortcut.
