The truth…

It hurts, but it heals.

Uncomfortable, but liberating.

It hurts, but it strengthens.

The truth…

Awaken our conscience,

It shakes our certainties,

and invites us to see reality,

even when we prefer to close our eyes.

In these times of hypersensitivity, telling the truth may seem like an attack, a grievance or an insult.

It seems that you have to say what others want to hear in order not to hurt their ego.

What we long to hear may be a momentary, comforting balm, but it rarely helps us grow and improve.

Truth, on the other hand, though uncomfortable and sometimes painful, is the best catalyst for personal change and transformation.

👇 Tip of the Day 👇

The human tendency to seek validation and comfort can cause you to surround yourself with people who, out of a desire to please, only tell you what you want to hear.

However, what is truly valuable is to have people who have the courage to give you an honest perspective, even if it means momentarily making you uncomfortable (or hurting you).

Accepting what you need to hear, rather than what you would like to hear, requires courage and humility.

It means being willing to face your own limitations and identify areas for improvement.

Remember: The truth may be hard to accept, but it is the path to growth.
