A few days ago I gave a piece of advice to someone in my team that I also want to share with you.
Growth, both in life and in business, does not depend on how fast you run, but on persisting until you reach your goal.
Â
Just as it is not possible to run before crawling, it is not possible to start building a building from the top floor. Before taking the big leap, you need to have a solid foundation that allows you to grow.
👇 Tip of the Day 👇
Getting started is very important, but never compare your first day with someone who started years ago. Go at your own pace and build on a solid foundation:
- Understand the basics:
It's okay to start out not knowing or understanding everything, however, it's critical that you commit to continually improving and learning as you go. - Be consistent:Many times we look for the easy way, to take the big leap; but it is the small steps, taken steadily, that truly make you progress.
- Be patient:Neither success nor transformation is achieved overnight; it takes time. However, there are always small achievements worth recording and celebrating. The road is long, and being aware of your progress helps you stay motivated.
- Be consistent:Once you have your goal or project clear, you should take actions that are aligned with it: read books that allow you to learn about the subject, get together with people who have already achieved what you are trying to do and ask for advice from more experienced people.
Growing, whether personally or professionally, is not a race, but a marathon. Don’t compare yourself to others or try to advance faster than you can at the moment.
Focus on your growth…
Building it on a solid foundation.
