Acceptance is a painful, but it is a necessary and liberating process.
When we stop avoiding, when we step into the pain, face our shadow and accept our wounds, that is when we truly begin to heal.
It is not about looking for blame or justifications, but about recognizing that this pain is part of our history and that, despite the wounds and scars, we can love ourselves, even in our darkest moments.
Ultimately, acceptance allows us to let go of the weight that has been weighing us down so that we can move forward, lighter, freer and happier.
👇 Tip of the Day 👇
-
Practice self-compassion.
Sit in a quiet place, close your eyes and place one hand over your heart.
Take a deep breath and allow what you have been rejecting, ignoring or judging to emerge.
Don’t try to change it, don’t generate resistance, just observe it with curiosity and kindness.
Repeat to yourself, with conviction: “I accept this part of me with love, understanding, and compassion“.
And keep repeating it to yourself until the emotional charge goes down, and repeat this process with other wounds, traumas or regrets that you have been carrying around for so long.
At the end, note how you feel.
