A few days ago, in response to “A fork in the road“, Maru wrote to me…
"You portrayed me with this story Vladimir.
I have a hard time making decisions for fear that my decision is not the right one.
What can I do?"
I told Maru that there is no such thing as a perfect decision. Every choice we make brings with it a mix of advantages and disadvantages.
The important thing is to have confidence in our ability to adapt and learn from any outcome.
👇 Reminder of the day 👇
- Not making a decision is, in itself, a decision, and it is usually the wrong decision.
Every time you are faced with a choice, ask yourself:Â
What is the best and worst thing that could happen if I choose this option?
Not making a decision is not moving forward, not growing, not taking advantage of the opportunities that come your way, and that, in the long run, is much more detrimental than “making a mistake” with the decision taken.
Always remember that it is possible to reach the same destination through different paths, and even when it seems that you made the “wrong” decision, it is always possible to correct your course.
