(6H #24) > Challenges, Results and Reflections

Last Sunday I was unable to write the newsletter because we were in the middle of our global launch of Dr Joe Dispenza’s new documentary, SOURCE.

Now that the event has practically come to an end, I have the opportunity to sit down to write and reflect.

This week’s newsletter will be a little different, because instead of talking about my experiences of the week, I will focus on a series of reflections and conclusions, which I would like to share with you.

I hope you enjoy it 🙂

H1: Challenges and mental health

What we experienced last weekend was the result of 3 months of hard work and dedication.

3 months during which, with the more than 300 people that make up my team, we were 100% focused on this project.

Not only because of the importance but also because of the magnitude of it, it was a very exhausting 3 months, but there is a small lesson/conclusion that I would like to share with you, and maybe it will be useful for you at some point in your life:

When facing a big challenge, the best thing you can do for your mental health is to avoid focusing obsessively on the results. If it's going well, you can get distracted and end up doing poorly, and if it's going badly, you'll tear yourself apart and end up doing worse.

Focus on what you can control.

H2: Results and resilience

In newsletter #23 I told you that our intention with the global launch was to reach one million people.

The total registrations were just over 600 thousand, and although we did not reach the goal (and in fact, fell quite far short), I am still very pleased with the final result.

The team was a little disappointed that we did not achieve our goal, but it is in those moments of “failure” that our resilience must be shown.

We did not achieve what we had set out to do, but awakening the conscience of more than half a million people in just 3 days is an achievement we should be proud of.

Every “failure” has two sides. It is not worth regretting what was not achieved. Accept it, get up and prepare for the next opportunity is always the best option.

Resilience.

H3: Discipline and flexibility

I have previously commented that my mother often tells me that I am “very Virgo” when it comes to my discipline and organization.

Honestly, discipline, order, habits, routines, etc. These are things that give structure to my life, and in many ways save me time and energy.

Fortunately, years (and life) have taught me the value of flexibility. Although I love order, I have no problem being flexible and adapting to whatever the situation calls for.

The last 2 weeks, due to this big project, I broke my streak of books read, I couldn’t write last week’s newsletter, I trained less than usual, I slept less than usual, I didn’t take care of my diet as much, among many other things.

I’m not happy about it, but it was what the situation called for, so I accepted it without mortification.

Generating resistance to what is happening is one of the main causes of suffering, accepting and trying to adapt (as best as possible) to the situation is much better.

H4: Gratitude

“I want to change the world.”

I have been repeating those words to myself for over 25 years, which is why I feel so fortunate and grateful to have a platform like younity to be able to positively impact the lives of so many people.

With the 600,000 who participated last weekend, we have reached more than 8 million people in the last 4 years, and have shared with them messages, information and evidence that healing and change is possible.

And today I also want to thank you for being part of all this.

H5: Stress and ego

Knowing how to listen and observe is very important when interacting or working with a large number of people, as it not only helps you understand them better, but also allows you to connect with people in a different way.

This reflection is a product, precisely, of the interactions with my team in the last 2 weeks.

Something interesting I learned was that those who were most stressed were precisely those who were not in balance, at peace, or who were being controlled by their emotions (or circumstances), in short, those who were being controlled by the ego. While those who were at peace, in balance and centered, were not stressed, despite having been exposed to the same situations.

This is directly related to the first highlight of this week, the ego makes you focus too much on the result and distracts you from what is really important.

If stress is weighing you down, you may need to change your perspective.

H6: Live call with Bruce Lipton

And to close this week’s newsletter, I wanted to share with you the recording of the call we had with Bruce Lipton a few weeks ago.

It’s always a real pleasure to listen to Bruce, so I hope you enjoy it.

Until next Sunday, with 6 new highlights ❤️
